Park City has an endless amount of activities and events happening in and around town at any given time. However, Salt Lake City is only a short drive away and it too has an amazing amount of activities and events. This past weekend was the Salt Lake City Comic Con. My partner, Judy, and I were showing clients some condos downtown and we came upon this spectacular site while passing the Convention Center. We were so intrigued we had to check it out.

The Salt Lake City Comic Con ran Thursday through Saturday with upwards of 150,000 people in attendance.  Fans here in the last couple years have broken the records for Largest First Year Comic Con in North America, Most Attended Convention in Utah, Largest Convention Per Capita in North America and this year on Friday, September 25 fans broke the record for "Largest Gathering of Comic Book Characters" with 1,784 different superheros. Stan Lee himself called the 2014 Salt Lake Comic Con "The greatest Comic Con in the world"! The event sure made for an exciting day and I bet it was a great weekend.

The Salt Lake City metro area has over 180,000 residents with 1.2 million residents in the Greater Salt Lake City area. The area boasts an International Airport (only 25-30 minutes from Park City), multiple Museums, The University of Utah, the Hogle Zoo, Convention Center, shopping, dining, and so much more.
