I thought I should mention that besides the private golf communities of Glenwild, Promontory, Tuhaye, Red Ledges and Victory Ranch...we have several other golf courses within 20 minutes of Park City. There are actually very nice private and public courses. Park Meadows and Jeremy Ranch are both private golf clubs within Park City...these two are not golf course communities, they are traditional subdivisions that happen to have a private golf course within its community....whereas the other private golf communities are really communities centered around the golf club and amenities that are provided to its members.

Now concerning the public courses within a few minutes drive...we have Park City Golf Course right in the center of town with beautiful ski mountain views. This course winds thru Old Town condos and private homes. A short drive towards Salt Lake City you will find Mountain Dell Public course which has the Canyon and Lake course...it is nestled in the valley looking up at the Wasatch Front Mountains. If you travel about 15-20 minutes to Midway, you will find five well run courses...two at Wasatch Mountain and two at Solider Hollow...the course at what used to be called The Homestead is now Crater Springs....these courses are well maintained and my favorite is the Mountain course because of its beautiful setting as you play right up the mountain.

Now at the Canyons we have a brand new one called Canyons Resort Golf Course which will open this spring...this course will be a typical resort course for the Canyons resort guest however it will be open to the public...once it opens and I get a chance to play it I will report to all of you.
