The Country's First Fully Electric Bike-Share Program opened in Park City, Utah on July 19th. Our town wanted less traffic and better air quality and hopes its new fleet will mitigate traffic congestion and promote environmental sustainability. Park City believes the answer is e-bikes, an all-electric bike-share program. While some cities in the US, such as Baltimore, Maryland, and Birmingham, Alabama, have integrated pedal-assist bikes into their existing bike-share programs, Park City has become the first to create a fleet consisting entirely of e-bikes. 88 e-bikes are available and can be picked up at 9 different stations located in Old Town, Kimball Junction, and Canyons Transit Center.
