This week continues our comparison of Market Numbers in the first quarter of 2016 compared to the first quarter of 2015. So what does it mean... First of all it means you cannot look at Park City as one single market. We have several "micro areas" and some areas are up and some areas are down. So always ask your Realtor for specific subdivisions in your market analysis not just the "Park City" market.
In Old Town combined inventory is down in the first quarter of 2016 over this time last year in the first quarter 2015 thus Supply & Demand is causing prices to creep up. Single Family listings are up 8.3% in the first quarter of 2016 over listings in the first quarter of 2015, and the median home price are up 13.5% in the first quarter of 2016 as compared to the first quarter in 2015.
