Wasatch Brew Pub is located at the top of Main Street and they have indoor and outdoor seating, a frequent diner program, and brew craft beers right on site. Wasatch was the very first brewery in Utah – and one of the first craft brewers in all of the U.S. – brewing award-winning brews since 1986. In 1988, Greg Schirf (the founder of Wasatch Brew Pub) proposed a bill to the Utah Legislature making brewpubs legal in Utah and opened the first brewpub at the top of historic Main Street in the resort town of Park City.

To celebrate their 30th anniversary, they are teaming up with Sunrise Rotary to try and break the world record for the longest continuous shot ski (currently held by a Brewery in Breckenridge). Come celebrate on October 22nd in the Brew Pub parking lot and join the beer garden fun with live music by the Utah County Swillers, games and delicious Wasatch craft beers.

Tickets for the fundraiser are $15, all profits go to Sunrise Rotary. In addition to bragging rights, every participant will receive a bumper sticker that can be placed on their car or skis to prove they partook. The actual shot of beer will take place at 2:00 pm, but revelers will be encouraged to come at noon and enjoy the beer garden in the Wasatch Brew Pub parking lot. (Since the event involves the consumption of alcohol, all participants must be 21.)

As promised in last week's blog - click here for more information about Howl-O-Ween in Park City. Tricks aside, Halloween on Historic Park City's Main Street was named one of the top Halloween celebrations in the country by Travel and Leisure magazine and for good reason! When you combine two and four-legged costumed creatures with gourmet treats and maybe a few tricks you have a one-of-a-kind celebration.

And remember... Snow is once again in the high mountains. With ski season just around the corner here is a breakdown of all of the resort passes.

My partner, Judy, and I are always here if you have any questions about the happenings in Park City and of course all things real estate - have a great rest of the week.
