Park City's summers and winters are packed with sporting events for both athletes and spectators. Winters bring World Cup freestyle events, World Superpipe Championships along with local and regional events. The US Ski and Snowboard Teams are located in Park City and are always the local favorites. Summer time brings both team and individual sports to the forefront. Mountain and road biking events and races along with rugby, softball, soccer, and of course golf are big draws for summer time sports activities. Utah Olympic Park was built to host the sliding and jumping events for the 2002 Winter Olympics and continues to be one of the world's premier venues for bobsled, luge, skeleton, and Nordic jumping competitions. It also has a Zipline and an Alpine slide that allows riders to weave down a narrow course with 18 turns that conclude at the base of the K-64 ski jump.
