Midway / Charleston
The Midway and Charleston areas are located just over the mountains on the backside of Deer Valley’s Empire Bowl. The town works hard to retain a small farm community feel and preserve its Swiss heritage. There is a Swiss Days celebration that draws in thousands of people to Midway for the Labor Day weekend each year. This area is surrounded by the Wasatch mountain range and the nearly12,000 foot Mt. Timpanogos, it boasts a spectacular alpine setting with several hot springs, and a continued legacy of the Europeans who founded the area.
Midway is also home to 100 holes of golf at 5 different courses and the Soldier Hollow cross-country ski track. Midway offers a slower pace lifestyle, that allows equestrian pursuits as well as close proximity to the hustle and bustle of Park City and Salt Lake.
