Park City is a town for those who love the outdoors and adventure, and during the snow months we have more than just the mountains to play on. Park City Mountain Resort has seen 17 inches of snow in the last 48 hours  adding some much appreciated powder to our favorite slopes. I made it up the other day and took my snowboard from the Canyons Village to Downtown Park City and rode the new lift back to take in the incredible view. S Media Snowports Culture posted a great episode about Park City skiing and the fact that flying into Salt Lake City gives visitors and residents alike access to 11 of the 14 ski resort within an hours drive.

With Spring around the corner, some of our friends were just telling us about Via Ferrate - a climbing adventure will be added to our list for warm weather activities. The Utah Adventure Center offers Via Ferrate: Guided Cable Assisted Climbing. Via Ferrata (Italian for "iron road") is a mountain-climbing method that lets less experienced climbers enjoy the adrenaline rush and spectacular scenery usually reserved for elite climbers. The "iron road" is now available in Utah with the Waterfall Canyon Via Ferrata.
